Today the children of P4 had a special visitor to their classroom. Much to their surprise a moaning, groaning, rather smelly mummy staggered into P4 during their Literacy lesson this morning. It was perfect timing really, as it helped them with their imaginative writing. They talked about how this mummy looked, sounded, smelled and felt, and then gave some wonderful adjectives and similes to describe their experience. The children imagined that this mummy was chasing them through the corridors of a pyramid and then wrote all about their imaginary adventure. The end results were excellent, with the children producing some really exciting, descriptive writing.
Great work P4’s!

Also linked to our Egyptian topic, the children had great fun yesterday working in teams to create their own pyramids. The end results were really good!
