December Newsletter 2016

Staffing update: Congratulations to Mrs Waddell who has accepted a Head teacher post in Fife. We are sorry to lose her and wish her well. We begin the recruitment process to find her successor. Mrs Waddell has contributed so much in her time at Cramond, working closely with many, many pupils and families.

Congratulations to Mrs Bain in nursery who is expecting her second child. Our new EYO in nursery, who replaces Miss McKay, will start in the New Year.

Winter is here! : Please ensure children come to school dressed warmly with hats, gloves and sturdy footwear. At the end of the school day and before the morning bell please supervise your children carefully. Younger pupils should be within eye and arm reach! In slippery or icy conditions, particular care and vigilance is required. All red flags and cordoned off areas must be complied with by adults  and pupils. Thank you.

Parking: Yet again we have issues with unsafe and inconsiderate parking. Please park further away and walk. The school are doing all we can to tackle this ongoing issue, including communicating regularly with Police Scotland. Neighbours in local streets, particularly Cramond Vale are fed up with dangerous parking and overcrowding in cul-de-sac. We appeal again for all parents proactive support to keep all our kids safe. Police Scotland asked us to strongly remind parents that driving through a zebra crossing is an offence with automatic £100 fine and 3 penalty points.
