This week has seen a flurry of nativity preparation. You may have seen notices up asking if anyone would like to be involed in help sort our costumes. Many thanks to all who have helped or offered to help in the coming weeks.
The singing has been coming along beautifully and the nursery staff are beginning to see which children have a love of the stage and which ones prefer to be in the chorus. Our aim is for everyone to enjoy thier nativity experience without any stress or anxiety. So far, this plan is working and we have some budding enthusiasts.
You should have a copy of the nursery newsletter with all the upcoming dates set out in it (a fridge sized copy for your convenience). Any questions, please do get in touch.
The weather has also taken a very wintery turn. Please continue to make sure that the litte ones are wrapped up warm as they still want to drag nursery staff (erm we mean encourage nursery grown ups) out into the garden no matter what the weather. We love it really, but hats and scarves really are a necessity. If you happen to forget, please don’t worry, we do have a selection of spares and we won’t let the little ones get cold if we can possibly help it.
The Nursery reps have kindly taken in hand some of the jobs posted on the nursery notice board. Get in touch with them if you would like more information or to be involved. If you haven’t noticed the board, please do have a wee look as you pass by. There may be a wee job on there you would be interested in doing or an opportunity to be a fly on the wall in nursery.
Next week on the 1st December it’s the night the xmas lights go on at Barnton. The school Glee club will be singing and as usual a few of the shops will be open and a general feeling of Christmas wellbeing will be shared if you wish to attend.
