Attendance
Attendance matters.

Being at school every day and on time really does make a difference. Regular attendance helps your child make the most of their learning, build friendships, and feel confident and secure in school life.
We know mornings aren’t always easy, and sometimes barriers or worries can get in the way of coming to school. If you notice your child feeling anxious or struggling, please let us know straight away – we’re here to help. By working together, we can support your child to feel happy and settled in school.
At Cramond, we work closely with the Edinburgh Welfare Service and our Pupil Support Officer, Mrs Calder, to provide extra support where it’s needed.

We also keep a close eye on attendance and timekeeping. If we see your child’s attendance slipping, we’ll be in touch to talk about how we can work with you and what supports you may need.
⏰ School Day Times
• P1 & P2: 8:50–2:50 (Mon–Thurs) | 8:50–12:00 (Fri)
• P3–P7: 8:40–3:05 (Mon–Thurs) | 8:40–12:15 (Fri)
Arriving on time helps children start the day calmly, join in with classmates, and feel ready to learn. Together, we can make every school day count.
