CPSC Parent Council

Parental Engagement at Cramond

At Cramond Primary, we believe that parents and carers are the most important partners in every child’s learning journey. Strong home–school relationships are central to our Cramond Cares values of Respect, Excellence, Equality and Kindness.

We actively encourage families to take part in school life, from supporting learning at home, volunteering at events, sharing skills and expertise, to contributing to decision-making about our school’s future.

Cramond CPSC organise official Whatsapp groups for parents & carers to communicate. Join using QR codes on link below.

Parental engagement makes a real difference to children’s outcomes, confidence and wellbeing. Together, we celebrate achievements, overcome challenges, and create the best possible learning experiences for every child.

The Role of the Parent Council – CPSC

Cramond Parent Staff Council (CPSC) represents the voice of parents and carers across our school community.

The CPSC:

• Works in partnership with the Headteacher and staff to support school improvement and enhance learning.

• Represents the views of parents in school and local authority discussions.

Organises fundraising and social events that enrich school life.

• Builds strong links between families, staff and the wider community.

Every parent or carer with a child at Cramond is automatically a member of the Parent Forum, and can get involved with the CPSC. Whether you have a little or a lot of time to give, your contribution makes a difference.

For information about meetings, events and how to get involved, please see the CPSC section of our school app.
