The Supporting a Child with ADHD programme has been designed for parents, caregivers and guardians who are looking to support their children, ages 6 to 12 who have been diagnosed with ADHD or are waiting for an ADHD assessment for their child who is displaying symptoms.
Kindred Advocacy, a charity that works alongside families of children with complex needs in Edinburgh. We are currently running Early Positive Approaches to Support (E-PAtS) – a free 8-week programme designed especially for parents and carers of children aged 0–7 who have additional support needs.
The course is delivered by experienced parent carers and professionals working together. It offers a chance for families to:
- Explore practical approaches to everyday challenges
- Gain confidence in supporting their child
- Meet and share experiences with other parents in a welcoming group setting
📍 Online sessions take place on the 22nd of October at 10:00 till 12:30, and in-person sessions take place locally in Edinburgh, at Oaklands School, EH4 4PQ, at 10:00 till 12:30 with free parking and good public transportation links. There is no cost to attend.
