New P1 Parent Virtual Coffee and Catch up Session

Dear P1 families,

We hope you are well. We know you must be waiting eagerly for information about P1 in August. We are waiting for confirmation on how many classes we will have in P1 in August. Once this is confirmed we can issue class lists and share details about P1 Teachers.

We are hosting a ‘Coffee and Catch up’ Session on Thursday 10th June at 1pm.  Feel free to join and ask any questions you may have about your child starting P1 in August. The session will be hosted by Mrs Donaldson (Head Teacher, Mrs Stewart (P1 Teacher) and Mrs Naeem (Acting Principal Teacher).  Please register for this session to let us know you are hoping to attend and to also to share any questions you  may have. We are creating a SWAY (A digital presentation) to share information on the organisation of P1. We will share pictures and videos of our P1 classrooms, each teacher will share a video introducing themselves and another video of them reading a story.

We will have P1 packs ready to be shared by Friday 18th June at our Meet the Teacher event. You and your child can come to collect the pack and say a quick hello to your child’s teacher. Please see the attached flyer for more information about this.

Due to current restrictions, we are limited with what we can provide for transition, therefore we are unfortunately not permitted to have any parents or new pupils come in to visit the school before August. We hope that the SWAY will give you as much information as possible.
